Apple has just released security updates bringing Golden Gate to 27.0.1, Tahoe to 26.7.1, and Sequoia to 15.8.1.

The update to Golden Gate is about 3.3 GB to download.

There are no security release notes for 27.0.1, which apparently fixes unspecified bugs, together with one affecting Platform SingleSignOn (SSO) detailed in the Enterprise release notes.

Security release notes for 26.7.1 record one severe vulnerability in CoreGraphics which Apple believes may be currently exploited, and the same for 15.8.1.

The new build number of macOS 27.0.1 is 26A434. There is no change in firmware mBoot version, which remains at 20457.1.29.

Looking at bundled apps, Passwords is the most significant change, to version 3.0.1, and there are small build increments in Mail, Messages and Shortcuts. Safari is now version 27.0.1 (22625.1.29.11.28). APFS remains at version 3288.1.3.

In /System/Library, there are small build increments in Screen Time and its components, and some Mail support, Translation framework, SingleSignOn (SSO) support, IntelligenceFlow private frameworks, PCC private frameworks, Speech Translation, and Spotlight’s Mail.mdimporter.
