Its actions (components used to build its workflows) speak louder in workflows (Automator’s ‘apps’) until replaced by shortcuts (Shortcuts, introduced in macOS in 2021, is intended to replace Automator).
2: Replacing a fictional detective, its indexes never really made it to iPhones.

Spotlight
Replacing a fictional detective (it was the successor to Sherlock 3), its indexes (it builds and maintains indexes on each volume included) never really made it to iPhones (iOS and iPadOS have only really had Core Spotlight, rather than the full Spotlight in macOS).
3: This instrument panel came in 14 widgets and vanished in 10.15.

This instrument panel (a dashboard) came in 14 widgets (its first version came with 14 standard widgets) and vanished in 10.15 (it was removed from macOS Catalina).
