Q Yesterday I bought a new Apple Wireless Keyboard for use with my iMac. Having bought the shorter version, I now realise that it does not have a ‘Delete’ key, which I used to use. Is there an alternative key?
A The standard substitute for the Delete key on more compact keyboards such as Apple’s Wireless model is the destructive backspace. This is labelled with an arrow pointing to the left ←, and is situated just above the Return key.
Comments If you use the Delete key for other purposes and want to assign those to another key instead, the standard way of doing this is in the Keyboard pane, Shortcuts tab.
