Well, strictly speaking two – one a long-promised birthday present for our son (parental overindulgence), the other a 42 mm model with Milanese Loop strap.

Despite placing the order within 15 minutes of opening time this morning, neither is expected to be delivered until well into May. I think that Apple is selling them by the shipload.

I wish you success with your own ordering, or justification for not doing so. I confess that this is the most exhilarating Apple purchase that I have made since I drove over to the mainland to buy one of the very first Newtons, just a few hours after they started to ship.
