Five flavours (1999 iMac in five colours), a balanced arm worthy of George Carwardine (iMac Flat Panel of 2002, featuring a balanced arm similar to that invented by George Carwardine (1887–1947) for his Anglepoise lamp), and a Retina 5K display (iMac 27-inch 2014).

2: Blueberry or tangerine clamshell with airport and a handle.

Blueberry or tangerine (its original two colour options, graphite was added later as a special edition) clamshell (its case design) with airport (the first Mac to feature built-in AirPort Wi-Fi) and a handle (one of very few Macs with a handle in its case).

3: Checked by optometrists, this FireWire device died from lead poisoning 20 years ago.

Checked by optometrists (who check eyesight), this FireWire device (it connected via IEEE 1394 FireWire) died from lead poisoning 20 years ago (it was discontinued at the end of 2006 because it couldn’t be made using lead-free solder).
