Overnight, Apple has pushed out silent updates to El Capitan and Sierra security protection data.
MRT Configuration Data moves to version 1.14; Apple does not reveal what improvements that brings.
XProtect‘s configuration data is updated to release 2087, which adds support for the detection of OSX.Hmining.C, a variant of the existing Hmining A, and blacklists the Safari extension com.searchnt.safari.
The Chinese Word List has also been updated to version 5.7 in the same set.
I have updated the listings here of those settings for El Capitan and Sierra. My utility LockRattler confirms the updated version numbers too.
