You have, I hope, noticed that I try to obtain good images for the articles on this site, and that you are able to view them in relatively high resolution by clicking on the image, and usually clicking on it a second time to view it at full size.
It has today become clear that all the images which I had posted here from 17 November 2015 had lost that facility: if you clicked on them, nothing happened. I discovered that this is because of unannounced changes made in the way in which such images are now embedded in webpages here (something which I am clearly deeply upset about).
I would like to apologise to everyone who was deprived of be ability to enjoy and study the images here, as a result of this error.
I have now manually corrected the source HTML of all the affected articles, and checked that they now do work as I – and you – would wish.
I am now looking at a better solution which will save me having to manually edit the source code of every article to fix the damage done in the update of 17 November.
If you should ever notice any issues like this, please do not hesitate to email me, or make a comment on the affected page. Your reading and viewing pleasure and satisfaction are very important to me.
