Q&A: Creating structured email messages

Q I used to use Mactank’s Mail Template Editor to automate creation of structured messages for quotations and the like. What would you recommend in its place?

A You can script Mail to do this sort of task, if you are a dab hand with AppleScript, but many find it easier to use a template editor with HTML-based messages. These range from Equinux’s Mail Designer Pro (App Store, £39.99 with additional in-app purchases), which is rich in graphic tools and features, to the more content-based Logical Mail (App Store, £12.99), and others there.
