More sad news this morning: the UK print edition of MacWorld has ceased publication.
The announcement makes it very clear that the website and electronic (iOS Newsstand) editions will continue, although as usual the phrasing is euphemistic: “we think it’s time to retire the print edition so the team can focus entirely on digital.”
Thank you, folks, for keeping in print so long, and we will no doubt continue to catch you on the web.
I had not noted the passing of the US print edition, I am afraid, but presume the UK edition was the sole surviving print title?
Thanks to Christopher Phin, whose ears are ever to the ground, for drawing my attention to this, and for pointing out that the US print edition had ceased earlier in the year.
