If you use FileMaker’s SSL feature for connections between FileMaker clients and FileMaker Server, then you need to apply security updates which have just been released here.
This applies to FileMaker, FileMaker Pro, and Filemaker Server, versions 12 and 13.
According to FileMaker, the issue is with FileMaker’s root SSL certificates, which could otherwise allow compromise of network communications. The update patches the app and FileMaker’s security certificates to address this.
If you run FileMaker Server and use SSL, you must update Server first, before any clients, or the clients will be unable to access the server until they too are updated. An update to FileMaker Go 13.0.9 (iOS) should be imminent, from the iTunes Store, of course.
