Safari versions 8.0.4, 7.1.4 and 6.2.4 – security fixes

Apple has just released three new versions of Safari, numbered 8.0.4 (for Yosemite), 7.1.4, and 6.2.4, through the App Store.

These fix two vulnerabilities: the first in WebKit, the framework underlying Safari and some other software, which could allow malicious code execution from a visit to a malicious website; the second improves the WebKit interface to prevent malicious sites from misrepresenting the attacker’s URL. Both sound well worthwhile and important.
