LockRattler
After a batch of new MacBook Pros were delivered with SIP disabled: LockRattler (December 2016), EFIcienC then SilentKnight (July 2019), and here’s what version 3 should look like.
When run on Intel Macs without a T2 chip in Ventura 13.3.1, LockRattler may crash because of a bug in macOS. This update fixes it.
Corrects SIP assessments, adds links to info for Ventura, but now requires High Sierra or later.
Developed from LockRattler three years ago, SilentKnight is in need to modernisation to work better with changing security tools. History and aims.
Recommended for all running Catalina or later, this new version checks and reports the version of XProtect Remediator.
Although intended primarily for anyone running Ventura or using an M2 Mac, they should be good for all users.
