2: 1 broke by 2005, 2 is still cryptographic, 3 is even better, but not in Iran.

SHA
1 broke by 2005 (when SHA-1 was broken), 2 is still cryptographic (SHA-2 is), 3 is even better (although still little-used, it’s the strongest), but not in Iran (the last Shah of Iran was deposed in 1979).
3: Missing from …MNOPQTUVW… but present in CD.

Missing from …MNOPQTUVW… (the letters RS) but present in CD (R-S codes were introduced by Irving S Reed and Gustave Solomon in 1960, and in 1978-80 were incorporated into Compact Discs to correct burst errors when reading).
