Apple has released a security update for Safari, bringing it to version 8.0.6 (Yosemite, OS X 10.10), 7.1.6 or 6.2.6 (Mavericks and Mountain Lion). This is now available in the App Store.

Fixes address vulnerabilities which could lead maliciously crafted websites to cause Safari to quit or execution of arbitrary code, access contents of the filesystem, or gain access to link objects. As these vulnerabilities are in WebKit, this update should also improve security of any other app which uses WebKit.
