These work differently from other privacy controls, and are required for Find My… and Activation Lock. There are some catches too, and no command tool to help.
Location Services
24 July macOS 13.5 disabled all user control over access to Location Services;
17 August macOS 13.5.1 is the first mention by Apple, and fixes the “issue” without apology.
If you’ve updated to macOS 13.5, take a look at Location Services, in Privacy & Security settings. Do you notice anything missing?
