Complete listing of all frequency steps for M1-M5 chips in each variant, for E, P and S cores, and for the A18 Pro in the MacBook Neo. Is the M5 P type more like an older E or P core?

Have you got a MacBook Neo, or a MacBook Pro with an M5 Pro or Max chip? Could you please help update the table of CPU core frequencies, as explained here.
From a simple linear Basic program, or a command tool like tar, to working with macOS to get threads allocated to the most appropriate cores and run at the right frequency.
It’s the percentage of time a core in active, when not idle or shut down. That’s confounded by Intel Hyper-threading, and frequencies of Apple silicon cores.
Given what we know about the base M5, is it really a significant improvement on the base M4. What features should we be looking at?
How operating frequencies of CPU cores used by the latest base M5 chip compare with those from previous families in the M series, and what that means. Complete with updated tables for all current chips.
A call for help: can you help complete this table of all the CPU core frequencies of M-series chips? M3 Ultra and M5 values are requested, please.
Provides maximum frequencies for E and P cores in each of the M-series, a table of all frequency steps used by current M-series chips, and explanation of how they have come about and their importance.
In any M-series family, I’ve always assumed that P and E cores were the same, whether it’s a base or Ultra variant. That isn’t correct, though.
One of the most common reasons for opening Activity Monitor is to check the % CPU of processes that might be running out of control. How accurate are those figures, though, and should you believe them?
